The GS 400's are pretty hot stock. I'm not sure about the big V8 sedans.
I had a student who was feeling pretty overconfident about his new GS, so
after class one night we played a little stop light eliminator and I dusted
him in the Dakota. Turns out he had a lowly GS300.
Next week--
ME: Uhmm, Charles, you don't have a 400, you have a 300. Nice new car,
but not a racer! You buy a chevette you don't get to brag about the
corvettes specs!
Charles: Yeah, but.... I didn't think I'd get smoked by a truck....

BTW-Turns out we raced right past the CHP station.... Good thing we
weren't near a shift change.
