Dodge uses a pressurized fuel injection cleaning system. It used to be
available to the home user but 3M took it off the market because too many
people were blowing up their systems (no gauge being used to monitor the
pressure).

Subject: DML: Re: Got Spark Plugs Changed - FINALLY!

OK, I understand about cleaning the TB and can do it myself (thanks to
Bernd's advice on the DML on how to do this,as he has responded to this
question probably over hundred times) ;^) but I'm not sure about cleaning
the injectors and fuel rails as mentioned below. Is this something that can
be done myself or is it a better idea to take it to my dealer and get them
to do it. And what does cleaning the injectors and fuel rails entail? I do
use the fuel injector cleaner that you add to your gas tank once every 4
fills or so, but this can't do everything can it? Does the dealer use a
certain "machine" that they clean the injector's and fuel rails with on the
engine or do they have to remove these from the engine to clean them?

Thanks as always,
Jay
