You are right, but, it (the chip) does nothing for the 1-2 shift retard (not
you, the tranny :0). I had a prob with an intermittent "slip" I would feel
in 2-3. It still happened after the TCM software upgrade. It seemed RPM
related, but no where near WOT. The chip solved 99% of those occurrences.
