PS: he SS did not come out from Chevrolet until 97 BTW. the vortechs
actually came out around 91. the 91-92 Sonoma GT was themost powerful 4.3
S-series with 195 HP, but was paired only with an auto tranny. It was the
old square body style of course. in the 94+ models AL2WD models with the 43
had 180 HP, the 4x4s ONLY get he 190 HP version.
