Roush is working on the 2002 Ford SVT Focus (blown). Like it bigger brother
the Lightning, it is a factory model. Steeda, beaten them to the punch.
The complete work for 22K (interior, engine mods, exterior, suspension etc.)

Well, unless it's 215 or more, prolly won't be enuff on the SI. On the
Focus, I consider Steeda the same as using aftermarket parts, as that's what
they are, a tuner. I could say a friend of mine bolted a stage II turbo onto
his 98 Neon R/T, and ran 12.3s all day long at the track, then I'll look at
the Steeda Focus, and tell him to bring it on. :) And yes, a friend of mine
did, he used to take out LS1s daily in his Neon, as it is his daily driver,
but he was trying to pump more HP outta the car and started messing with A/F
mixtures........you can guess what happened. Now he only has an Iceman
Intake and a couple other things and is hittin' the 14s.

Neon R/T's are pretty cool.

Not really! Honda already working on a SI Civic Honda with a 200 plus HP.
Suzuki has a blown all-wheel track small lightweight UT with 245HP. The
Steeda Focus is already pushing around 235HP with a Stage II turbo.

It 'tis' the season for the small compacts again.

No doubt, that thing is going to eat the other Sport compacts up. hell, I
drove a regular 01 neon R/T and was very impressed, not only with the power,
but the overall car. Feels totally different from the run of the mill Neon.
my only complaint? The steering needs to tilt higher, everytime I let off
the clutch, my knee would scrape the steering wheel. Oh, I think the 4.7
thing was a bit of sarcasm from he "other discussion :)

Actually it (the SRT) going to use a turbo, not the Eaton M-45 blower on the
2.4L. That setup will eat up any stock Dakota as well as run rings around it
in a turn. Out of the box a GenII Neon with a MTX pulls a decent mid 15sec
1/4mi. Not bad for a 4 banger. With a 50hp shot of NOS you're down in the
14's. Now what does a stock 4.7L or R/T do in a 1/4mi?? Don't get me wrong I
like both the Dak and Neon. But neither are the fastest around.. Case in
point I got my ass handed to me last night by a vintage Studebaker Avanti
last night (didn't realize he had the R4 setup underhood).
