K&N Gen II questions

hi all..

i have a flowmaster 40 series (2.5 in/out) on my truck now, but i want to
make it a little bit louder and increase hp a bit.. could this be achieved
with a k&n gen 2 intake ?

any group buys available on this, and what's the price out there for the k&n
gen 2 intake with or without discount ??
