Sounds like you didn't evacuate the sytem? You need to remove all the
moisture from the system before charging. Put a vacuum pump on it for about
half an hour. That ought to do the trick.

Jon, Any time the A/C system is opened you should replace the filter /
accumulator. The filter could have too much moisture in it causing a high
head. Also, Double check that they gave you the right orifice tube. What
kinda of pressure was it running on the low side??
