The truck should be able to handle that little bit of plowing no problem.
In the long term expect the ball joints to die prematurely, and other parts
in the front end going before their normal time.
But, if he's making money at the plowing, it will be well worth it.
Just tell him to watch the curbs, he'll be fine. :)
