Well in the instance that Tom was referring to, it is not as simple as just
dropping the pan. He is talking about a power flush which pulls out all the
fluid. That includes what is in the torque converter and other areas. I
know Jiffy Lube does it but when I talked to them they refused to do the
procedure with my own oil.

I would say keep looking, there is a shop out there that will let you add
your own oil and they may or may not warranty the work. but hey, its only
droping the pan and replacing the filter. so what could go wrong? not much.
