This intake connects to the stock air hat. Isn't the Gen III stock airhat a
major source of restriction and turbulance in the air intake system. That's
one reason I liked the Z-tube, it eliminates the airhat and connects
directly to the throttle body. Am I wrong?

for genIII Daks/Durangos. I especially like the mandrel bend pipe with heat
resistant paint inside and out. (cold air all the way to the TB). He is now
using the 9" inch filter with his system. Full price is $150 plus shipping.
He is offering us $145 with minimum of 5, $140 if we get 10, and $130 for
