I believe I heard something about the suspension being cut shorter.. so that
with weight, the body has the ability to contact the frame, therefore
weakening its structure.. bad thing.

I think it has something to do with the ride, more car like and setup for
performance. It required them to remove a few leaf springs, thus reducing
the
amount of weight it can handle.
