You should have gotten instructions with it. If not the filter, then surely
with the cleanup kit.

I have a K&N cone filter on my dakota. What is the best way to clean these
filters? Hose them down with water? Spray if off with air? Do you have to
put oil on the filter after you clean it? The instructions don't help me
