There will be no increase in "advertised" duration which is usually measured
from .000" to .000" tappet lift. If you are asking will tehre be more valve
lift at .050" tappet lift then, yes but the actual length of duration is not
increased only the lift at a given duration with exception of .000" lift.

Basic math .000 x 1.7 = .000 no change in total duration

                   .050 x 1.7 = .085 (ie .035 more valve lift @ .050 tappet
lift)
               .0294 x 1.7 = .050 (ie .050 valve lift is now achieved at
.0294 tappet lift)
