I belive there was mention of a wire under the fuse bos (the one under the
hood) that corrodes on the Gen II trucks. You might check that out.
The fuel pump would be east enough to test with a pressure tester hooked to
the fuel rail.
When you turn the key to start it, can you here the pump whine?
