Hey guys, I am in need of a rebuild on my 42RE in my blown V6 dak,
I was wondering if the 44RE(318auto)is exactly the same size in dimension
and
will bolt right up to the V6 since it is basically the same engine less 2
cylinders.
Also, Tim B., what did AAMCO charge for your rebuild? I called a very good
tranny shop
and they said "those dodge trannies are pretty expensive" and said just to
start it would
be at least 1700-1800 and then on up. Any ideas, alternatives?
