408 Stroker ?'s

All,

I just bought a blown 360 engine out of a van for 60$.
After taking it apart there was a piston in pieces in
the oil pan. Looks like the crank is shot, and it
needs
at least one new piston/rod. Plus one cylinder will
need to be sleeved.

Now for the questions:

1. Anyone have any experience with a 408 stroker? I've
seen the kit offered on a few websites and it sounds
tempting!

2. What are the fuel/injector requirements? Will it
work with a stock 360 computer? How about a 318 Mopar
Performance computer?

3. I think I can put the 408 together cheaper than
putting a supercharger on my 318....But which would
provide more benefit? I'm thinking the torque from the
408 would be better for a heavy 4x4.

Well nobody I know around here in MD has any
experience
with the Magnum motors, so I am going to be relying
heavy on the good people of the DML!!!

More questions to come!

Thanks

Brad
