I don't know about weight, maybe 100 pounds lighter. Mileage? My son drives
my 2001 Grand Cherokee 4.7 and he does not get much better mileage than my
R/T does, maybe a couple of mpg, but the GC is 200 pounds lighter than my
Dak. My wife has a 96 Cougar 4.6 V8 and it is no better on gas at all than
my R/T and it is 400 pounds lighter and very aerodynamic compared to a
pickup.
