If the leaks are coming from bolted flanges try buying thicker flange
gaskets, the ones that came with my doug thorley headers are quite thick. I
even blew one out when my cat convertor died and it resealed just fine after
I emoved the convertor.

If the leaks are from clamped pipes, the only thing I would suggest is
getting them welded instead of clamped.

As far as the headers, I don't know if there is much that you can do besides
sending them back. sounds like the pipes weren't welded to the flange at the
proper angle. A temp fix would be to stick header insulation btween the pipe
and the frame. Unfortunately it'll only last a couple weeks before it wears
out.
