Hey Guys!
How does one identify which 5spd transmission one has? My sticker simply has
the code DDC for the 5 speed listed, nothing else. I have not looked at it
to see a part number yet either, so I'm just asking the best way to find
out. Thanks!
Sean

I've had some problems w/ my NV-3500, but not that one, yet. I think 90% of
the problems can be traced to the synchro rings. I've never seen a tsb on
these trannies for anything, I guess they don't sell enough V8/5-spd trucks
to care. If you find anything out, please post or let me know. Thanks,

Damned thing is popping out of first gear again. Anyone else experiencing
this? Anyone ever get to the bottom of why this happens? Bad detent? Bad
synchoros? Bad shift forks? Combination?
Dealer claims there is no TSB on this and seems unwilling to dig into what
might be the cause.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
