It isn't a matter of whether or not the bullets are any different. People who
are ignorant (unknowledgable) about guns just see .40 and .45
Just like when the assault rifle ban was passed, it didn't really ban assault
rifles it just removed the flash suppressor, disallowed bayonets (I'd like to
know how many peopl were killed with bayonets on assault rifles in the past
ten years), restricted pistol grips to rifles with a high percentage of US
made parts, and limited the magazine capacity that the weapon could be sold
with (although you could still buy and use high capacity mags in it). In
other words the guns fire the same ammo,hold just as many rounds and fire
just as fast (and more accurately w/o the flash supressor). But people who
are ignorant about guns, felt that the guns were now "safer" when really they
are just "less scary looking".
Any word yet on that .50 cal mount for my Dak?
