Starts out somewhat off topic but bear with.
I just returned from a week and a half vacation with my wife. My DML
subscription was suspended for the duration. (works fine, nice programming
feature Jon!) So I'm catching up by reading the archives.
Re: the Daktoberkest weekend. I had posted last month that any weekend was
OK with me. Somewhat later I was gently reminded that the 13th of October
has a long-term reservation on it for me. Lynn and I were married on Friday
the 13th of October, 29 years ago. In my case, Friday the 13th is a very
lucky date and I don't want to jinx it.
To answer the inevitable question, no, she really, really doesn't want to
celebrate by driving through the mud pit. So I won't be able to attend this
time. Take lots of pictures everyone!
