Hey just pokin around here and wondered if anyone seen the Ignition and
upgrade shootout in 4 wheel and Off Road mag oct 2001 ? Basics was started
out with a Accel 71000 Series electronic distributor for baseline and all
setups were dynoed. The baseline was 156.4 HP with Mallory Hy Fire VIA max
power 155.8, MSD 6 Off-Road max 154.1, Holley annilator max 151.3, Crane
Fireball Hi6R 157.6. There is a lot more to the article but interesting to me
that system, the Crane had more max power than the baseline. Kind of follows
up on my experiences with the MSD.
