Every drop helps, regardless of type. O- is the "universal" type (anyone can accept
it) as I recall, but anything is a help. Remember, local banks will be depleted when
current stores are trucked to NYC and DC, so even if your blood stays at home, you've
freed up one pint to be sent there.
