Heard yesterday that all the passengers, on the plane that crashed in PA,
were all forced to the back of the plane by the hijackers. They were then
ordered to call up their love ones to tell them that they were hijacked and
that they are about to die.

There was at least one cell phone call from a woman on the plane that
went into the Pentagon; I don't recall who it was, but it was a news
reporter. I think you're right, they probably had no idea what the
intentions of the terrorists were. (Though it would seem the folks
on the PA plane figured it out somehow.)

: something, possibly a young kid and threatened to kill them if anyone
: got up to do anything. I doubt we'll ever really know.

From what I've heard this morning, that's what the stabbings were
about; apparently they started killing stewardesses to lure the
crew out of the cockpit. Obviously the crew had no idea what their
intentions were either, otherwise the pilots would never have come out.
I suspect future hijackings will be met with more resistance after
these terrible incidents.

: Nah, you know this isn't a movie because nobody named Bruce, Arnold
: or Sylvester managed to save the day at the last moment.

Hopefully this is the part in the beginning of the movie where the
bad guys do something evil, and the rest of the film is dedicated to
non-stop butt-kicking.
