On my way home this morning from taking the wife to work,i was at a
stoplight.A Dakota(2nd generation)rolls up alongside,and the driver looks
over my ride.He is smiling a lot(must like what he sees)..
Anyway,he says to me,"Hey old man,u wanna race me?".Old man??,i'm only
45.Well,this not only pissed me off,but i couldnt back down from a
challenge.The light turned green,and we were off.
We did this at 3 lights.I had him at 2 out of 3.Then on the 4th one,he just
didnt try anymore,so i pulled over to chat with him.He said he gave it
up,when he saw my 3.9 R/T lettering.He had a pre-magnum 91 318.
He later told me,that he has some buddies with Ford Rangers & S10's.
They had told him of this green Dakota 4-door R/T that had spanked them...
guess word gets around....Bahahahaha!
