I do not know the part numbers of the plunger and
contacts. If anyone needs to replace them I ordered
them from DB Electrical http://www.dbelectrical.com/
I told them the make and model and he looked up what I
needed. Hopefully they sent me the correct parts, I
will not know until I rip it apart.

The truck is 2wd and it looks like there will be no
problems taking it off. The Chrysler service time is
1.5 hours, so I sould be able to do it in 2,
hopefully.

Just in case anybody did not know, the symptoms of
plunger pin replacement.
The starter will click over, like the battery is dead,
you try again and again and it will eventually start.
My starter has been doing it for 2 months now, but it
had gotten worse, and I fear it will let me sit really
soon........ After I do the job I can post some tips
if anyone is interested......
