Todd,
A single side-exit CAT-back system should serve you well, especially since
you mention pulling a trailer. A single pipe will generate better torque
response than a dual setup. They sound great also.

Subject: DML: Exhaust options for 2001 DQC w/4.7L V8

DQCOQ folks:

I recently purchased a new 2001 DQC w/4.7L V8. It only has 1800 miles
on it but I'm planning a few "upgrades". I have a question about the
best (defined as quality, performance, noise - in that order of
priority)
system for the conditions I subject the truck to. The truck pulls a
3000lb motorsports trailer so exhaust systems exiting out the back of
the
truck are not desired. Is there any gain in a single pipe CAT-back
system? Has anyone installed a dual CAT-back system with both pipes
exiting
on the same (OEM location) side? I do not wish to have to remove my
spare tire in order to run dual pipes - one out each side... Any
suggestions from those who have been through this?
