Brass throttle blades...oxidation

I was cleaning my TB (removing buildup caused by having my vac plug
disconnected for some time) the other day and saw that my throttle blades
had the typical 'green' oxidation that occurs to brass. Anyone else have
this?

I have the Quick-D TB.

Also, has anyone figured a nice 'easy' way to remove the oxidation? Being an
old navy man myself, the only way I know how to treat brass is with some
NEVER-DULL.
