try changing the fluid. 75w90 weight gear oil, and a tube of limited slip
additive. inspect for gear wear (problem w/ 8.25" axles) while you're in
there

Subject: DML: Rear End GRINDING

My 95 2wd dak has a limited slip diff. After driving
on the highway, the rear end makes a grinding noise
when turning sharply. Like when pulling out from a
stop sign on an off ramp. Has anyone else had this
experience. The truck has 105000 on it, but has been
doing this since I got it at 67000. I am constantly
checking the grease, but it is always full.

Thanks Justus
