Well, this has been rumored for the last 2 years, so there was a little warning. My girlfriend is a dedicated Camaro owner ( 77, 80 , 84 Z-28, 88 RS, 93 Z-28 ), So we broke down and traded in the 93 Z-28 for an '02 SS. This is one seriously fast car. I could beat the 93, but can't touch this one. I can get a jump on it off the light, but get caught at about 150-200 yds . ( it has a traction control system that applies the brake to combat wheelspin If you turn traction control off, it does great burnouts)
Got a great deal on buying it. our dealer located it an another dealers lot, and sold it to us sight unseen. Then we find out that it has extra's on it that weren't listed on the locator listing. Chrome rims, high performance exhaust, badging. Came to about $2500 that the (remote) dealer didn't get paid for.
Had to get the Chevy area rep involved to make the remote dealer turn it loose to our dealer.

Dakota content: its been back to chevy 4 times so far for interior trim, paint and minor touch up stuff. I love the looks the chevy mechanics give my DAKOTA
( gotta keep the Dodge to drive her back and forth to the Chevy service dept.)
