congrats on the purchase of the best year model Dakota ever built! 50k
miles??? WOW! Only prob I've had has been blowing rear axles (wheel hop and
plenty of tq.... along w/ a HEAVY right foot)

The transfer case halves are prone to leaking, as well as the output shaft
seals... no big deal though.

I've gone through more than my share of tires, the General Grabber A/T
(Sidewinder A/T made by Goodyear) are definitely my favorites. Great
offroad traction, decent highway wear, and not overly priced.

Time to consult the experts. I just bought a 1995 Dakota Sport V6
4X4.Auto, Pwr windows/locks, air . Has about 50,000 miles on it.
What things should I be watching for in it? Anything about that particular
year that I should know? Other than a few scratches and needing new rubber
it looks in very good shape. As far as the tires what are the
recommendations these days? I do spend a certain amount of time off road.
