I left mine, unless you plan on rotating in the spare, I figured it
would be the same as running with a big compact spare as with my car. I
have alloy rims and a steel rim spare, so I figured I would
replace/repair a flat as soon as possible and left the spare the old
size, they are close and I did not want to spend the money to replace a
brand new tire. I would only upsize the spare if it were to be rotated
in or if you plan on having to drive a long way or extended time on the
spare due to money, time or just do care factors of driving without a
spare tire.
