What gear gets put in the 4 banger dak? My 90 Dak had a similar howl.
It got so I didn't need the speedo, I could tell how fast I was going by
the pitch of the noise. :)

Do you have 3.55s? Several of the complaints about a
howl or a droning noise were with 3.55 gears,but not
all. I do believe it`s more prevalent with that gear.
This topic was all the rage a couple years ago
here,and some people had quite a time getting the
dealer to get rid of the noise and keep it gone,but
maybe they have figured out a good fix by now. I`ve
read somewhere that the gears are cut differently on
3.55s,and that leads to noise? I don`t know if limited
slip or non-limited slip has to do with anything or
