I like the whiny noise, so long as its consistent, and doenst sound like
something is broke...
I suspect the 2500-3000 rpm noise is injectors, or maybe something not
tightened down, rattling
the diesel sound at idle could be the timing chain crap, but I dont know
whats involved in pulling timing chain cover (etc, what else is involved.
