Jon is absolutely correct. Better to relax than to tense and better to
go with the flow in general.

Take it from a guy that does a lot of crashing. (Road racing
motorcycles).

  Alex,

  Glad to hear you are OK! I just wanted to throw my $.02 in here... If
you're lucky enough to be able to prepare for an impact, the best course
of action (if you can manage to do it) is to try to relax as much as
possible. I recall reading somewhere that your odds of avoiding injury
will improve if you can just go limp. Ever notice how drunk
drivers seem to fare much better than their victims? Supposedly that's
because they haven't had time to anticipate the crash and the only way
you're going to get more limp than drunk is to fall asleep. :-)

  Just some food for thought. Once again, I'm glad to hear you guys
came through OK. (For now, anyway... Good luck with the GF!) ;-)
