Ma Mopar must have started cutting some serious corners.. The old
TorqueFlites never seemed to miss a beat for well over 100K. I was
installing used ones that had 150-200K on them and that was when I'd change
the fluid, filter.. and give the bands an adjustment. I would EXPECT 200K on
on AT.. especially in a dodge. The only exceptions would be under extreme
abuse. I had a slant 6 Valiant lose a tranny at about 80k.. But that was
doing 65MPH in 1st.. and then going to reverse at floorboard... often....
very often...
