Not sure what year Dak you have or if tranny is manual or auto.
If it's an auto., you probably have the 42RH or 42RE, depending on the
year of your Dak.
I estimate my hp at the crank is about 295 hp, probably higher now
since removing about 300 lb of weight.
I have the beefed up version of the 42RE, the 44RE. Since I drag race
quite a bit, I put in the Transgo Shift kit, a MP auxilliary tranny cooler
and synthetic tranny fluid through a 3000 stall (flash) torque converter.
