Piston failure due to piston of too weak design to take the boost. Seen this
happen on a turbo motor but not as bad. Piston failure may have started from a
hot spot caused by too lean mixture in that cylinder. At boost a weak injector
can lean out a single cylinder real fast. My syclone did it twice before we
discovered a weak injector. The piston never completely disintegrated like
yours did but did develop a hole and blow oil out of the filler and pcv pipe.
