One, I have to disagree somewhat, Jon.

Have you noticed lately how Dodge is turning the direction of just being
'DIFFERENT' to the fastest and the best high-performance in its class?

It was just a show truck, never intended for production. Given the
way the manufacturers are today, I wouldn't be surprised if its just a
bale of crushed metal rusting in a junkyard by now. :-( If ya want
one, you've got to roll your own. :-)

DML trivia tidbit: The person who designed the Sidewinder and the
person who drew the initial version of the "skat pak ram" in the DML
logo are one and the same. (Mark Allen) How's that for pedigree? ;-)

On a related note, I've got a Hot Wheels Sidewinder at home in the
original packaging, autographed by Mark. :-) (Eric Kurtz gave it to
me a few years back.) I'm afraid that's about as close as DC will ever
come to a production version. Unless of course they feel a need
to compete with Chevy's SSR. Then again, they haven't felt a need
to compete with the Camaro and Mustang since the early 70's so I
wouldn't hold my breath... :-P
