Dodge and the Daytona 500

First, great to see Dodge back in the Daytona Victory Lane after nearly 30
years!

Second, what a bone headed move by Marlin to get out of his car and get
that penalty, but it didn't matter anyway as Nascar was ready to black flag
him for going below the yellow line and advancing his position (and
wrecking the race leader and defending WC champion, however, a driver
'blockling' none the less)

Dodge content: Dodge had the biggest vehicle display of all makes at the
track...for those taking the free shuttle into the race, you had to walk
by their display of all sorts of Dodge trucks and 4x4 vehicles, as well as
all types of race vehicles and cars they offer for sale, to get into the
track...what a great location Dodge scored.

Anyone who has been to a Jeep Jamboree 101 would realize they modeled part
of the display area like a 101 track, with winding paths through out,
taking you to various areas of vehicles and displays

They also had the Dodge Ram-en-ator taking a lap around the track, now
talk about a truck! He almost drove over some fire trucks that were going
to slow, and passed them below the yellow line on the infield
grass.

Daytona International Speedway (DIS) also uses RAMs and only RAMS (and red
ones only) for pulling the trolleys around for the track tours as well as
for all the emergency vehicles...too bad the pace car was a bright yellow
Pontiac Trans Am.

Again, a stellar day for Dodge!
