My 2001 Grand cherokee 4.7 with the towing package is rated to tow 6,000
pounds. the 4.7 is not a bad engine. Better than a 318 I expect and nearly
as good as a 360 with better mileage. My son has put over 50k on the Gc
with no problems so far. Dallas FT Worth traffic also.
