I second that, completely replace the fluid & bleed the system before
doing anything. 32k is ridiculous unless you ride the clutch or slip it
constantly.. when I sold my last truck it had 115k miles on the stock
clutch (though that's more than I would normally expect)

If those are hydraulic units, do what we bikers do. Change the fluid with
a
good quality fluid. Bleed tha cylinder and lines, preferably with a tool
such as a Mity-Vac.
Bet your difficult shifting goes away, unless you have a worn out clutch.
