This is where I would disagree. Plugs just don't increase HP but is the
spark that is created within the combustion chamber.
Using one brand over another is usually based on the design of the plug and
the combustion chamber.

A friend owns a dirt late model stock car, and runs on the NCRA, MLRA, MARS,
SUPR circuits, etc. He gets his engines from Hatfield racing engines-these
run anywhere from $12k to $20+k-they use Autolite plugs. Why? DYNO READINGS.

Now, back to the catcon problem, if you are using the proper plug as
recommended by the factory, the dealer should not be blaming the plugs.
There is a different problem, most catcon probs are due to overheating from
an excessively lean mixture.
