Mine has done this only once.. I have a 2002 4x4 quad cab also. When the
lights are turned on,if you listen carefully you can hear a slight click
from under dash. this is the relay I believe for the lights, this could be
acting up,or it is in the switch itself, I would say take it into Dealer for
warranty.
