There are many things in your circuits that can stop the pump from running.
One of the main ones is your battery. If the battery's not putting out
nominal voltage the PCM will not let the pump run. There may be other
things as well. The best way to check is what Tony C suggested, put a gauge
on the test port. If you've never cleaned your injectors it certainly
couldn't hurt. Run you tank down to about 1/4, add a bottle of Chevron
Techron cleaner in your tank, add about 10 gallons of gas and drive the tank
down to at least 1/4 before you fill it again. On the TB, the answer to
your question about the IAC is an emphatic yes. I have heard of many
symptoms regarding idle and the IAC. When you clean it (using TB cleaner),
do not twist the pintle that sticks out. If you do, it may not be able to
set an idle again and you'll have to buy a new one. While you have that off
and cleaning it, you should take the entire TB off and clean the MAP sensor
and TP sensor as well as the blades and bores. Don't forget to disconnect
the negative side of your battery before you start all this. Good luck.

No I haven't cleaned any of that....but ya think it would just run
rough. I dropped my tank...took out the fuel pump and if I hot wire it,
it runs fine...but if I plug it back in to the harness and turn the key
on it won't run. Would the iac stop the pump from running?
