Fog bulbs

I bought some super white fog li9ght bulbs a few months ago...Well after
having them in for about 2 months, the driver side bulb burnt out...I
figured it was a defective bulb so I bought a new one...now about 2 months
later, the same bulb has burnt out again. What can be causing these bulbs to
burn out? Or can it be coincidence? I doubt it.
