Didn't know 3.9's had glow plugs. I thought they were only used on diesels.
I'd have to say it was the FSM code

Subject: DML: 1391 code, 2 different problems ???

Thanks to all who suggested I go to autozone, they
read the code for free no problem. However they said
I had a code 1391. On their printout, a 1391 is a
"glow plug circuit low input (bank#1)". According to
my FSM a 1391 is a "Intermittent loss of either
camshaft or crankshaft position sensor." Which one is
correct?

My check engine light came on. Stayed on for about 2
days then went out. About 300 miles of driving
involved. The light is still out. I do not have a
desiel engine. This is a 99 Dakota sport v6.

Any ideas anyone? I am just out of warranty too....
they time these things well don't they?

Thanks

Mark
