Tenneco owns Monroe and Rancho, when they bought Rancho they incorporated
Rancho technology into the "new" reflex shock. They are basically the same
thing. Rancho shocks are probably more durable, but if you arent running
the Dakar or jumping hills in Hazzard county, Monroe Reflex shocks are
great! I have them and love them! They are much better than stock. Gabriel
is coming out with a "Max Control" shock supposed to compete with the
Reflex...its a single tube shock with variable valves. Pro Comp has a shock
out too that competes with Rancho and Monroe Reflex.
