Thanx for the curse, I went to replace the plugs in my 02 quad cab 4x4 only
6300 miles on her today and when I pulled the air hat off of the 4.7 the
positive battery cable came off from the alternator stud and dropped onto
the fuel rail, and arced and sparked a cut in fuel rail gas came out and sh*t
A FIRE, sheesh scared me to death, somehow the nut holding the cable to the
stud came off ,since there was a nut mark on connector, but i put the fire
out and was I pissed.Called a tow truck to take it to the Dealer, dealer
says they wont warranty it because someone removed the nut, I said wasnt me,
then he gave me crap about my Flowmaster, and the k&n filter. I said what
does this have to do with what happened, he said Oh nothing, then why did he
bring it up, then I called my Ins Co, they may cover it, my deduct is
120.00, but why should my Ins. have to pay for this? I called Dodge
customer service and complained, so they will send out someone to the dealer
monday to investigate, I feel i am going to be stuck with a 500.00 + bill if
my Ins dosent cover it also. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!
