Dak 1, Grand Caravan 0... sort of

I had to do some running around late yesterday afternoon and lost the
parking space out front of my house. So I pulled into the alley behind the
house and parked in my neighbor's carport. It belongs to my girlfriend's
best friend Lori, and she has given us permission to park there whenever
parking is unavailable out front.

So Lori went out last night and when she tried to pull in to her carport,
struck my truck on the left rear bumper and continued to pull in to her
parking space, tearing up the sliding side door and right quarter panel on
her van. The amount of damage on both vehicles is kind of disproportionate.
I have a small spot below my turn signal where the paint has been rubbed off
and some scrapes on my bumper. Her van is badly dented and has the paint
gouged off from about the middle of the sliding door all the way to the rear
wheel.

I feel pretty bad about this, because she was doing me a favor letting me
park there and I wasn't pulled all the way into the carport. With the alley
being as small and as dark as it is, and my black truck sticking out further
than it should of, I didn't help matters....

Anyway, here are some pictures of the damage:

You can see she got the worst of it. That heavy steel bumper definitely did
its job.
